10 Superbowl Party Must-Haves

So, this year you decided to host a fabulous New Year’s Eve party for you and all your friends.  Sounds like fun, but also an awful lot of pressure!  You want to make sure everyone has a good time and that the party doesn’t fizzle out before midnight, prompting everyone to slink off to the nearest bar or other, better parties.

The first step to throwing a killer New Year’s party is making sure you have everything you’re going to need.  As long as you’ve got all these things, your epic party will last all night long!

1. Beverage bucket

Keep beers ice cold and within reach with this chic and functional metal tub for holding cans and bottles.  Fill it with ice, stick the drinks inside and enjoy the game without worrying about finding room in the fridge for more drinks.

2. Team-colored party balloons

Once we find out which two teams are going to fight it out in the Super Bowl, the time is right to pick up some appropriately colored decorations.  They’ll really get your guests hyped for the game to start.

3. Foam fingers

Trash-talking will start and football fans will feel like they’re right there in the stadium with these fun foam fingers.

4. Photo booth props

These days, no party is complete without a makeshift photo booth to capture the fun from start to finish.  Stock up on props and designate a corner of the room for taking pictures before, during, and after the game.  Whether your team wins or loses, you’ll be able to relive all the fun on social media later.

5. Football field tablecloth

Sports bars are fun for watching the occasional game, but people go to their friends’ houses for the Super Bowl because it’s more fun to spend the time comfortably watching and having fun.  Nevertheless, you’ve got to add a little bit of themed ambiance to honor the big game.

6. Large snack bowls

Don’t make the mistake of underestimating how many snack bowls you’re going to need.  These ones are made of plastic but look like movie theater popcorn tubs, so they fit the football theme perfectly.

7. Confetti poppers

Kids and adults will get a kick out of these.  Having confetti poppers on hand is ideal for the Super Bowl.  Use them to celebrate good plays and touchdowns, or even to add extra excitement to the halftime show.

8. Bluetooth sound bar

Some people are dead serious about watching every moment of the game, but when you’re having a party, there’s bound to be plenty of chatter whether play is paused or not.  Either way, you want to make sure everyone in all corners of the room can hear every call and every hilarious commercial.  This sound bar connects via Bluetooth to boost the sound level and quality from your TV.  It even comes with a subwoofer to really provide a theater-like experience.

9. Light-up “ice” cubes

So, they’re not made of ice, but you can pop them in the freezer and then into your drink to provide an icy chill, complete with bright, LED lights inside.  There’s no better way to really light up the party.

10. Party size slow cooker

For all the dip, nacho cheese, and buffalo wings you’re going to consume, you definitely need to have at least one slow cooker to keep plenty of food hot for everyone.  This 8-quart size is a good choice if you’ve got lots of hungry football fans to feed.
